The Brillhart Ranch Company consists of 9,093 total acres along the banks of the Musselshell River.  The irrigated river bottoms give way to heavily timbered draws providing excellent bedding areas for large populations of elk, mule deer and whitetail while the Cottonwoods along the Musselshell River provide very good bird hunting including turkey, pheasant and all upland bird species.

The ranch has a number of improvements including two houses, a 30X50 calving barn, 90 foot loafing shed, a historical barn that was built in the 1800’s, a number of smaller sheds, and a sizeable corral system with concrete feed bunks.

The newer of the two homes is a vintage 1940’s style 2,000 square foot 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a full basement. The second house is a hand-hewn log home that was built in the late 1800’s and has 2 bedrooms. Although built in the 1800’s, this home has been remodeled and holds a ton of character.

Since 1968, the Brillhart family has run a reputable Hereford operation. Historically, the ranch has run 300 cow-calf pairs while producing a large amount of alfalfa hay.
